What type of foundation do I need?

A concrete foundation is not needed.  You can place the sauna cradles on a deck, patio, paving stones or a bed of gravel.   Never place the cradle directly on the ground.

If the cradles are to be placed on concrete, I recommend placing a piece of treated plywood between the concrete and the cradle.
