Gas Sauna Heaters

The Scandia gas fired heaters are designed for rooms with little ventilation. They are a sealed combustion heater with no gas or flue connections made in side the sauna; therefore the possibility of oxygen depletion or flue products leaking into the sauna are eliminated. No flue is necessary when venting through an outside wall; a stainless steel flue cap is furnished. The combustion chamber is made of heavy gauge, type 321 stainless steel which is specifically designed for high temperatures; it withstands prolonged, intense heat.

All parts of the Scandia gas fired heaters are constructed of 300 series stainless steel to prevent rust or corrosion from the moisture and high temps of the sauna. The heaters are designed to allow as much water to be poured on the rocks as necessary to obtain the desired amount of steam. Water cannot run through the burner or floor because the rocks are places in teh cone shaped top of the sealed combustion chamber.

The 40,000 BTU gas fired heater has the approximate BTU output rating of a 9 kilowatt electric heater.
